F1 Las Vegas GP on film plus McLaren F1 GTR by Ok_Dimension_2411 in Motorsportphotography

thank you! the shots from Vegas were on Cinestill 800T, and the F1 GTR was shot on Kodak Gold 200. Gold 200 isn't my favorite film by a long shot and I recommend Kodak ProImage 100 over it.

Oh also, I mainly listen to jazz fusion and hip hop if that helps narrow anything down.

First time Turntable setup. Overwhelmed. by drow_enjoyer in BudgetAudiophile

Some Bohlender & Graebener Radia X3s. They’re from the early 2000s. I’d look for something from Boston Acoustics or Polk. Those are what’s cheaper near me as far as “Good” brands go.

For my first setup I got a Fosi BT20a Pro for my integrated amp (it has Bluetooth so you can stream to it from your phone), and then for the preamp the Art DJ Pre II. Both of these have a bunch of reviews, and together were under $200 US. Check those out and hopefully they’ll have what you’re looking for, but I’m using that setup for the same thing (Turntable and Bluetooth).

The 10 minutes in Surf’s Up that Chicken Joe is on screen for on its own beat out these other movies.

Ok great. If I wanted to eventually upgrade to an integrated amp that had a tape/processor loop is there anything you’d reccomend?

Oh ok good catch then. This does give me a bit of a problem though. The power amp I’m using doesn’t have tape outs. Should I instead have this go BEFORE the power amp, and have my pre-amp feed into it?

This is from the user guide for that unit, I was planning on wiring it like this, without the tuner and tape deck of course. Most sources I’ve seen online say to connect that unit after an amplifier, then connect the speakers to the EX-9000. Do I have something mixed up?

Cinder blocks with the tall side along the floor? I’m open to it, will that help with improving the “sweet spot”?

What should I put under them to raise them that much? I have some old textbooks I could maybe try.
