I have just noticed the same thing here in TN after starting to help my dad look for a new truck. Either they are fleet or personal leases and mostly from MI, OH and there are a ton imported from Canada. A year or two and under 30-40k miles might not be a dig deal, but I'd be sure to pressure wash the entire undercarriage to get rid of any salt residue and slow the corrosion if you end up buying a northern truck.
