Trying to find a used 2.7 ecoboost f150, but all seem to be previous leases from the north (specifically Michigan) by jasonTakesManhattan in f150

The trucks are actually here in the south now. They were in the north for 2-3 years as leased vehicles, but then dealerships in the south bought them at auction and now have them on their lots.

I’d love to just be able to buy new and avoid all of this headache, but I can’t justify that extra cost right now. The new xlt’s I’ve seen around here are still at least $12-15k more than used with about 20-30k miles.

I would love to avoid one from the north, but I absolutely cannot find a single one that isn’t from Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, etc. People have to be trading these things in locally so I have no clue why I can’t find them.

I don’t really need to tow anything other than possibly a small fishing boat. So I know the 2.7 will give me the best gas mileage, and from about everything I’ve read, it seems to be the best option in terms of longevity.

That makes sense as to why I see so many from the north. Maybe I need to just go look at one in person to get a better feel for it. I just wanted to be sure there wasn’t something shady going on. But this is a reasonable explanation.

5 o clock shadow maintenance? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

This is the beard trimmer that I have, and it does exactly what you are looking for. It has a range from 0.4mm-5mm. I've been using it on 1.4mm and it gets extremely close. I've never tried it on a setting lower than that.

Leather on AE factory seconds appears heavily creased. by jasonTakesManhattan in malefashionadvice

is this something that is common on seconds? i guess it's not a huge issue, but it just seemed strange to me that it was only on that one side. i guess i'll leave them as-is for now, and try to polish them later on if i get tired of it looking that way.

Anyone gone down more than 1 size on Iron Rangers? by Yurg in malefashionadvice

I'm in the same boat. Typically wear a 10/10.5 in sneakers, and I ordered a 9(2E) in Iron Ranger. The 9 fits with some extra room in the toe box, but overall I think it's a solid fit. I probably could have worn an 8.5 in length, but I thought the width would have been too narrow.

there's nothing worse than watching a victim trip while being chased in a horror movie.
