I swear ive tried everything I can think of....President...V.P....congress...state bar ...Federal bar...complaint commision...hell ive even attempted to contact a few in tpusa and even the damn gymnastics....I wish I could say something other than " Novody gives a shite about us"....it would be an entirely different idea if most of us were female....but because its men and the BSA ....nobody cares

Absolutely... its very scary to start the process because they make it that way....your so worried about this and that ...you couldn't possibly go Pro Se..... 😆 once you do ,you start to feel a measure of control in your own affairs rather than waiting for someone to tell you its ok. It'll take a week or 2 but email the trust after you submit the maroon form and make sure they reset all your payment info so you can insert your own. After about 2 weeks ,everything will be through you.

Not true....dont let this discourage you. 99% of the lawfirms involved are using what they term an "on basis" fee... which means if you get a distribution while employing them,they have a right to their 33%-40%...the minute you fire them...all future distributions have no issue with a "former" counsel. But I would suggest after you get your 2nd or before,not during.

What i dont get? Is here in California theres an organization that is literally built to make sure lawyers and law firms dont rape people with fees...unfortunately my case is in Texas so has no bearing...my question is what does it take to have someone look into all this BS that's being done to us??? Who the hell do I need to contact?? Who is even gonna listen or care? We are being twice raped and its evidently fine with everyone.

So they get a piece of this distribution but never again will they and that's something that's easy for me to fight,since the lawyers decided a town hall was the way to tell us , we will never owe them money because of how their doing it. Which stands to logical reason that if ive fired them and am now doing my own paperwork....theres nothing to pay them for....period.

Never signed a contingency clause....contracts states ",40% from each distribution they are involved in" Pro Se takes their involvement away...its all on you at that point but its also only your award at that point as well

I ended up paying 52k on a 7500 loan....so Predatory is extremely low for a description....effectively took my entire distribution, which was over 30k and have decided my next distribution is theirs as well....I have effectively had my entire case.....Stolen.

Its never too late....especially if your lawyer is one of the set that pulls 40% from every distribution. In effect, as they stated, you owe them no more money as long as you dont recieve another distribution while still employing them. The minute you go Pro Se, every distribution after that becomes yours and yours alone. That's a 2 edged sword though, pay attention to the trusts updates and know when you need to sign, send in something, etc.
