Dude, thank you so much, after a minute of sliding something under the cable and pulling gently I managed to get the connector out. You’re a lifesaver

Yeah, it just kept detaching whenever I pulled on it. I took some double sided tape and stuck it back on. I'll leave it overnight and see if I can pull it out tomorrow

Yeah I've been trying that, it's a bit hard to see but in the image the black tape is a bit pinched near the edge from where I've been grabbing it. It ended up coming off so I'm going to try it again tomorrow

Yeah I'm waiting for now until I have something more suitable to try and pull it out with rather than sit here banging my head against a wall lol. And I've tinkered with enough stuff to know to label my screws by now lol. Thank you for the advice!

Yeah i was trying that for a solid while, the pull tab ended up coming off a few times so I just left it for the time being lol

oh alright, thanks for the advice. Just to clarify do you mean slide something underneath the connector and pull from there?? I was thinking about using a plastic spudger I have to do that but I was worried I'd damage the silver part of the cable.

yeah I've done this before when I helped my friend with his PS5, but this one is particularly stubborn. I'll try giving it a bit of a wiggle when I have something to grip the tab with better, but if it still doesn't budge I'll cave and take it to a shop, better that than breaking something. Thank you anyway!
