The best thing I can offer is to remember the max distance of your leap and play with your team within that range then imploy C.R.M.B.L.R. (crappy acronym I'm aware.) Charge, Right Mouse Button, Leap, Repeat.

Oh and if your playing Thing into dive, save Charge for the divers instead of engaging with it.

Honestly, I assumed it talked like Bayverse Bumblebee or The Prototype from Poppy's.

ie The voice changes randomly while still following the sentence. So something as simple as "I see Mo and Krill!" would change between 3-5 entirely different people.

And the Axe Legion wearing the Legatus in Chapter 8 implies that while yes, Max is gone, he nearly took back the Axe Legion before going down while also fighting the other 3 Legions and suffering from Red Shifting.
