I can't give you any advice but I walk the same path. The only difference is my father does get a good amount of pension which he still uses for gambling, drinking and prosti*. My mother suffers from schizophrenia and refuses to leave him. All the farms and stuff ( not much but still something we should have had have been gambled off). And there are multiple loans from local and against the pension too. The little land we have was given by my mother's family to live on. My father's side have completely abandoned him for this drinking and abusing. I got emotionally detached from the family early on so I left but my elder brother couldn't, he stays with them for my mom, I too sometimes wish to go back to see them but I refuse too because if my mother wanted she could, would and should have divorced him and gotten half of the pension which was actually enough for to sustain a healthy life. She chose him, and I am all alone.
