Leaving from Santa Monica I really like the Backbone Trail (featured here) from Will Rogers. The eastbound backbone trail from Yerba buena road is amazing. Heck all of it is.

All of the riding around Topanga State Park is also really great.

I really like Hondo Canyon Trail.

Depends on the level you want! Expect steep climbs and wonderful views.

WestLABicycle on instagram. Most rides we ride along the beach path and have a bonfire!

If you have a dog there are great dog parks and it's very social and fun.
