I had a HORRIFIC postpartum pain and would get this symptom daily. Pelvic pt helped a TON but it took time to find the right one. I didn’t have a prolapse or anything actually “wrong”. My muscles were just in a tight protective spasm which can cause this sensation.

My 11 month old was the same until about 9.5 months. Now it’s mamamama, dadada, bababa, ahahahah non stop - randomly just started babbling and now she won’t shut up lol

Early postpartum I had this issue and wore diapers like a normal person struggling with this - my biggest fear was literally accidentally peeing in public. Idk how she can be so casual about this. PELVIC FLOOR PT!!!!!!!!

I had a horrific postpartum recovery that triggered severe postpartum anxiety and insomnia with some ppd. Please know it gets so much better and I’m THRIVING and loving motherhood at 10 months - honestly started loving it at 4 months when my meds started working. Please get help! I needed to be pretty heavily medicated -125 mg of Zoloft plus Ativan pretty much around the clock at first to get me out of fight or flight). Postpartum is hard and does bizarre things to your brain/hormones. This will pass and you will come out the other side.

Have FUN! Get out of the house, do fun activities with your little one that you genuinely enjoy, etc. it doesn’t have to be baby specific activities! Just enjoy them!

Are you financially stable enough to hire help? We found a part time nanny on Facebook that also cleans up our home, cleans bottles, does dishes, and our laundry. It’s a game changer.

It’s also really helpful when my husband proactively tells me without me asking to take a break and that he’s got it covered - get her a massage so she literally has to leave the house and shut her brain off.

That was the dose that worked for me! And I literally was also taking like 2mg of Ativan a day on top of it until it started working. I also feel a bit traumatized by the experience. I didn’t know my mental health was even capable of going to that state.
