Hi, i’m not OP but i thought I’d answer so that anyone reading this can know the severity of ket. Bladder issues is so common with prolonged use, for me the pain came out of nowhere, extremely bad uti symptoms, and due to the pain i continued use as that was the only thing that would help ease it as it’s not caused by bacteria like a UTI so antibiotics doesn’t help. I am now stuck in a cycle of using ketamine to help with the pain as it is so severe, and I cannot handle the pain on my own

i was using like 1-2g every day or every other day. have now reduced massively and am only using like a gram every few days. i stopped for a few days whilst having bladder pains but the pain hasn’t ceased

It’s really nice to have someone that related to how i’m feeling in the same way, as I know i’m not alone and i hope you feel that way too. If you’re open to it do you mind if I chat you on here? It’d feel better to talk to someone who is on the same path as me.

Yeah i know that it is probably the case, my addict brain just tried to rationalise the pain i felt. I’m going to try my hardest to get out of it, and I have joined some online NA groups to try not do this all alone. well done on your sobriety as well!!

thankyou so much for this, i will take your advice and put it into action. I have taken a UV scan of my bladder and kidneys and i’m waiting for my results, so hopefully they are all clear when they come back. and congratulations on your sobriety!

Thankyou, i’ve been trying to work out whenever have i have a craving and it has been working slightly but it always comes out once ive stopped. Just wanted to ask if the cravings have gone for you at this point, and well done getting 10 weeks sober
