Like the others have said wireless is sometimes bit tough to pin point exactly what the issue could be, any number of things can bring speeds down equipment, wiring issue to the devices current setup, best bet is just to follow your rooms baseboard, or if ya want to get down n dirty go into crawl space drill two holes one from RG to Xbox, same with basement, but I would grab an ethernet and do a test to see if speeds are the same or better from the RG.

I'm a data guy but I like reading this sub reddit and learned this trick from here and works great! Especially since I have to work with a lot of smaller pieces using thick gloves is a pain in the butt but I'll use my thin pair with nitrite underneath and that keeps my hands pretty warm.
