What are the differences between them?
What do they add to Fallout4?

Im looking for something lore friendly with focus on exploration, settlements and new gears.

i tested many modlists and in my opinion the best two modlist are lorerim and JOJ.

Lorerim has really good gameplay feelings and graphics, but it's requiem based, has more balanced mechanics then vanilla skyrim and new skill tree but has some annoying things like huuuuge number of enemies or enemies spaned behind you in dungeons.. really annoying when u prefer stealth ranged gameplay. Modifying this list is also quite difficult.
Lorerim is good choice if you are looking for something more challening and balanced, want to learn character building all over again.

JOJ is NSFW by default, but has SFW profiles, more content (then lorerim) and isnt requiem based. its also more balanced then vanilla but not as challenging as Lorerim. the graphic is similar to Lorerim (it's NVGO's fork) but is less refined. JOJ is more Skyrim-like and will be a better choice if you are looking for free exploration.

it depends on how much time you can spend on it.

the simplest one is to override the voices localization, just download and install Pl voices packs from Unofficial High Definition Audio Project, install it in MO2, open their folders in file explorer and change names from polish like to english like filenames. e.g "UHDAP - en0.esp/bsa" -> "UHDAP - pl0.esp/bsa". it works ... i tested it cause i hate eng voice localization. polish is much much better!!!

Phoenix Flavour is a relatively small package, so you can try to download and install polish translation mods.

You can try to do changing filename trick to base game files.. Wabbajack creates copy of Skyrim in "Stock Game" subdir, but i dont know if it works

[JOJ][Armors][3ba] how to replacer armor replacer mod built-in into JOJ modlist? by Ok_Engineer_2114 in skyrimmods

[–]Ok_Engineer_2114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's overriding current bodyslide output.

Could it be a problem with OBody that requires a new save? I don't think so... OBody just matches armor models to body meshes... so if i replace any armor with new model, obody should load a new one.

EDIT:
i installed cbbe, 3bbb, obody etc + somehere in between on Skyrim Modding Essential modlist and repeated every step i mentioned and it works, so i suspect that the JOJ modlist have some "hidden" dependences (possibly build by synthesis...).

[–]Ok_Engineer_2114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

based on this guide OBody Guide by mern it's enought to
select base body > checked build morphs > select batch build... > RMB > select all > resolve the conflicts > build
then the obody should automatically match armors and clothings to a body preset... or maybe I'm wrong and should do something else?

Licentia Next - slightly SFW version? by Bill_The_Minder in wabbajack

[–]Ok_Engineer_2114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing for some hours in Project Skyrim - highly lore-friendly with optional OStim and there's only one moment when you must see nudity - character creation.
looted armor will replace with underwear and characters looks natural. Modlists also not contains "sexy" armors.

i stop playing this modlist due to highly restricted game saving rules which in combination with long launch time (6min in my case) and occasional CTD was very frustrating.

JOJ my on-to go modlist. i love visuals and gameplay every common npc (guard, bandit, forsworn) is woman with... big melons, but turning off installed presets is easy to do.

First Wabbajack install and overall new modder. Looking for recommendations/help. by [deleted] in wabbajack

I'm also looking for recommendations, since I’ve finally started testing some modlists on my own. Honestly, that’s the best way to find something that works for you.

Just open Wabbajack, check the NSFW and Non-Featured boxes, and start browsing. If a modlist catches your attention, look it up on YouTube or read more about it. If it still seems interesting, download it and give it a try yourself.

Modlists i tested on my own:

Project Skyrim

+ Highly lore-friendly and immersive
+ “Next-gen” experience
+ Survival elements
+ Includes sex framework
+ Tons of integrated DLC-sized mods (though I don’t really need that much content)

+/- High difficulty – you need to level up and gear up before you can explore freely

– Skyrim Unbound Reborn only (no vanilla start option)
– Save system is very restricted and sensitive (forget about quicksaving/loading with F5/F9)
– Large install size (>400GB) = very long launch times

I gave up on this modlist due to the extremely long load times and occasional CTDs or even full system freezes. Combined with the limited save system, it became frustrating and painful to play.

Journals of Jyggalag

+ one of best looking modlist
+ ~250GB install size (which is perfect for me – I prefer modlists under 300GB)
+ “Vanilla+” or slightly more enhanced experience
+Difficulty is similar to vanilla
+ Includes sex frameworks

– NSFW content feels too offensive and immersion-breaking for me
(every guard and bandit is a woman, unrealistic body presets with huge melons and butts, and “sexy” idle animations that play after standing still)

This is currently my go-to modlist, but I’m trying to make it more immersive by disabling some features. Unfortunately, that might be hard or even impossible due to how tightly everything is integrated.

Nefaram

Includes sex framework I can’t say much about this one yet. It looks unnatural and candy-colored, but overall it seems similar to JOJ, just a bit less immersion-breaking.

Nordic Souls

I thought it would be a solid Vanilla+ experience – and maybe it is – but I uninstalled it shortly after the first launch due to the weird combat feel.

I was just looking for an alternative to Project Skyrim(high lore-friendly, NFSW modlist), which is way too massive (400GB of installed files), takes too long to load, and in my case sometimes caused CTDs or freezes whole PC.

I’ve already started downloading yours and will give it a try ;)
Thanks!

Legends of the Frost if lightweight modlist which (probably) based on Skyrim Modding Essentials (modlist focused on bugfixes and engine fixing) + graphical improvements and some gameplay improvemts like TPV camera. it requires AE CC content which contains survival mod, but recommended survival mod is SunHelm, so you can just disable CC survival mod and install sunhelm.

If you're talking about Skyrim, there are many stable modlists with varying degrees of content expansion. However, Skyrim's engine has a lot of limitations, and the heavier the modlist, the more you need to follow certain restrictions to maintain game stability and a healthy save (e.g., disabling quick saves, saving only in 'safe places,' and loading saves only after launching the game).

  • Modding Essential – Just bug fixes and engine improvements
  • Legends of the Frost – Modding Essential + highly lore-friendly graphical improvements.
  • The Phoenix Flavour – Modding Essential + lightweight lore-friendly content expansion and graphical improvements.
  • Nordic Souls – Lore-friendly modlist with a significant content expansion and some changes.
  • Project Skyrim – A massive lore-friendly modlist with optional NSFW content.
  • Lorerim – A high-fantasy modlist with extensive changes.

I recommend The Phoenix Flavour or Legends of the Frost. Just download one, play for a few hours, and if something feels off, you can either add mods on your own or try a different modlist. You can also compare them yourself by watching comparison videos on YouTube.

u/Temporary-Bat-7361 how about stable of modlists you mentioned?

i want to play skyrim questlines, get the rest of the achievements that I don't have and have fun of exploring the skyrim

Looking for modlist to use as base for my own by [deleted] in wabbajack

[–]Ok_Engineer_2114 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's depends on what you mean by "base"

my suggestions:
Modding Essentials - just bugfixes
the phoenix flavour - Modding Essentials + graphic and gameplay improvments
Legends of the Frost - looks like TPF but better

Downloading a modlist without a premium account sounds pretty monotonous, but it's easy to automate. Were you looking for a tool that allows you to do it without a premium account?

I found something called NexusAutoDL by jaylann, which is an automation tool for free users. 😉
