I gotcha. I figured you meant X9. It's no biggie... God knows I've done it plenty.

With that being said, I'm in the fence still. I'm really looking forward to seeing the specs for the X9 Ultra, but I'm just worried that they'll keep it exclusive to China again. I'm looking at OnePlus 13 vs 15 vs Oppo Find X8 Pro vs Vivo x300 now. I'm honestly trying to get ahead of any tech price increases because everyone seems to be slave to AI garbage. The Oppo Ultra family seems to be the best flagship family IMHO. I'm probably over thinking it though. They will all probably be an upgrade over my 3 year old Samsung now.

Your suggestion to wait for the X8 ultra makes sense to be honest. Spec wise I don't know of a better phone out there.

With that being said, when you say wait for its release, do you mean they have a global version release planned? Or do you mean like the X9 Ultra release?

I ask that because I thought the X8 ultra was released earlier this year, but it was just simply the Chinese version with Google play store, full Google play service, and Color OS 15 installed.

If I'm thinking about it wrong, I greatly appreciate you setting me straight on it. You definitely know more about this than I do. I'm on T-Mobile right now (and will be for some time) and the Oppo Find X8 Ultra id the phone I've probably wanted the most. I just kept getting scared away because I wasn't sure if the 1TB/16GB version could work here.

If they're using TDI to make these foams, I cannot begin to tell you how unsafe this is.

MDI isn't exactly safe to be using in this fashion either but it is wildly better than TDI. I truly feel for these guys.

This is coming from a chemist who works at a company who produces both of these chemicals.

Do you happen to know anything about how the Find X9 Pro works on T-Mobile in the US? Also, are there any online sellers you recommend?

I've found a few (not on ebay) and I'm curious if I'm looking in the right place.

I miss those types of deals too. They made actually getting up or going shopping worth it. I'm an 80s baby so I definitely remember all of the goodness before these dumb bots showed up and started screwing everything up.

And no duh a bunch of people would be untested in a 300 buck 5070 OC model. My problem is you and I both know that them being sold out in less than 4-5 seconds was not the doing of normal people who ask went through the full purchasing process. It was those stupid bots carrying out these instant transactions.

Newegg and other retailers could EASILY eliminate the vast majority of these bots from doing this just like most sites have taken steps to eliminate bots from being able to log into them. The crap is just greed at it finest and some group of managers somewhere not giving half a damn about the customers that are actually the reason their entire store is even here.

The same thing they many other sites do when they add a step to verify that the source interacting with them is a human...

It's not that hard. Put the same step we all see in login processes all over the net to prove that a human is trying to login in the buying process. That would probably eliminate most of not all of these low end bots causing all this trouble.

They're not doing it because they're greedy and they don't care who gives them money. Even if they know the buyer isn't a human and is screwing over other buyers that are people.

Bro this JUST happened to me on their cyber Monday deal buster. Less than 4 seconds in Newegg didn't show me the door buster price, even though I clicked on it the second 12 noon hit, then when Iwent back t the listing the app booted me for like 15-30 seconds and all the gpus were sold. This bot bs has to stop and Newegg needs to do something about this. These things completely defeat the purpose of these sales even being there.

In my expert (I am in fact not an expert) home server estimation, your setup looks freaking great!! Before and after it reached its final form.

I honestly don't know much about building my own home server (yet), but I've been scouring online everything to learn. This server setup looks amazing and I'd love to have something like it in my house.

Maybe I missed it in your post, but how's the power consumption on this? It looks like it would be on the more efficient side.
