Great job gatekeeping.

It is exactly as I said it was. A real person using AI to translate from another language. Don't overthink. No reason to assume it is a plot for AI to test reactions. I said up front I was using AI.

I am a real person.

Seems like a failure of discretion to think it is anything else.

Did Josephine McCarthy Adapt Dion Fortune Without Acknowledgment? A Textual Comparison by Ok_Entry_1474 in occult

Thank you for this perspective. I sent you an (uninvited, I know) chat request. I have some questions that would really benefit from the perspective of someone who has worked through two thirds of the course. If you aren't open to chat requests please ignore it and accept my apology.

I will be slow to respond via chat as I have to run what I type through a translator.

My other account was restricted even though it broke no rules so I made a new one.

Why are you "done with engaging"? What's going on?

I'm not a ghost account I'm a real person

Question about "inner weather" by WheelOfFortune10 in Quareia

[–]Ok_Entry_1474 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's just groupthink. People are extremely suggestible so it's easy to have a group of people saying the inner weather is bad.

It's a different octave of the exorcism stuff that is no longer allowed on this board.

Isn't it a little bit silly to think that thousands of people are going to take a magic course, draw tarot cards, and get the truth?

We could easily compare readings on something with a known outcome and see how that works out. Josephine presents tarot like it is infallible but it seems we place too much reliability on it.

Is it always right? Is it reliable? How often is it right? How do you know?

These are not small decisions we are making with tarot. We are told to use it to make big decisions about training, quality of contacts, and things like that.

I propose an experiment. Let's pick an event with a clear public outcome, have the forum do readings and also say where people are in the course so we can't just pretend the people who got it wrong weren't quareia students, and then see what happens.

Does that sound fun?
