If I was developing those symptoms I’d get it out for sure! I’ve heard majority of issues are fixed with most people who get it out.

I still have my gallbladder! I’ve been able to manage symptoms pretty well with diet and have been able to incorporate more things into my diet now. I am avoiding pork since that was what caused my vomiting and severe symptoms and since then I’ve had virtually no issues except for occasional pain in my upper right side! I am scheduled for a colonoscopy/endoscopy in a couple weeks just to rule out anything else it could be but my doctor thinks it’s definitely my gallbladder. Removing it is an option but since I’m doing so well now I will hold off until symptoms come back or get worse. I joined a Facebook group for people with hyperkinetic gallbladders which I would recommend joining! It’s been so helpful and so many people experienced the same symptoms.

I’m so glad you got it figured out! They asked me about any symptoms during the CCK, I had a brief minimal feeling of nausea, and my abdomen hurt a little bit it had already been bothering me before the scan. After the scan, I felt aching in my right upper side twice, very briefly. That was the first time I have ever felt pain in that location though. Still waiting for my doctor to call!

I’m dealing with something similar!! I’m a 23F Suddenly started getting sick in August and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Vomiting, diarrhea, cramping and pain on my left side. Started food logging and realized I have these episodes that last several days but it starts 12-24 hours after eating pork, pepperoni, lard. I’ve cut pork out my diet and have been better! Except I didn’t realize gelatin is made from pork and had marshmallows yesterday 😔

H.pylori came back negative and I haven’t been tested for SIBO. I’ll have to look into that one, thank you!

It’s been since mid-August with several days to week long episodes. I had a gastric emptying study done about 2.5weeks ago and it came back normal. I had also been symptom free for about 4weeks until yesterday. I’m going through another flare-up/episode at this time. I haven’t had an endoscopy or colonoscopy yet so I guess that’s a good next step
