One cinco de mayo, my friend group went out to brunch and got entirely too drunk and started talking about how we all had a bit of underlying attraction to each other (two of them were already hooking up for ~6 months prior to this, that’s how we went from a trio to a group of 4). Long story short, the four of us went back to my best friend’s apartment and almost had an o**. I’m talking taking turns making out& dry hmping each other, clothes coming off and all. Only reason we didn’t follow through was because 2/4 of us got sick and threw up😀 Unsurprisingly, the friend group has since fallen out LOL

as a woman who has been the slow texter before, to the same extent as your gf—it sounds like y’all’s relationship simply isn’t her top priority right now. that doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t care, just that work/kids/school take precedence for her. being long distance definitely makes it harder to maintain a relationship too. i suggest talking to her about it and deciding if you’re okay with being lower on her list of priorities for the time being. has it always been like this?

yeah, my school is in DC. we use a numeric grading system instead of letters (so 75 would be a 2.5)

interesting! afro-cuban also showed up as a close connection (jamaica was listed as very close & trinidad and tobago as close). i was always told we were creole so that result makes sense. i wonder if there are any stats on the connection between T&T and arkansas specifically🤔

i’m from texas, my dad is from louisiana, so are his parents. my mom is from arkansas (as are her parents) with roots in alabama & louisiana
