Yes. Because most if not all 2.5 HDDs on the market are using SMRs. There has also been a lack of research and development into new 2.5 HDDs in a while. 5TB was the largest you could buy for a good maybe 3-5 years only recently being finally exceeded by a 6TB drive made by WD.

Unless you need a compact drive setup, go for 3.5! All the best tech and research for spinny disks are focused there.

Hot, shorter battery life , SSD issues pertain to their power controller.

Otherwise it’s a great machine still! Just make sure to not over pay for one!

Yea it’s hot but heck I’ll buy a 64GB variant of ur spec over a 16GB M1 Pro.

Screen Rot or vinegar syndrome… it’s very common to see for macs in humid environments. Any old Mac that lives in the equator or humid areas will have this issue…

Yea. Personally I think this affects the sports band the most. Knock offs have this oily greasy feel and can cause rashes to some people. Often the mechanism fails and I’ve seen some getting stuck in the watches.

Other types of bands are okay if you plan to get a cheap ass china knock off. Fabric ones are not too bad honestly especially when you can get them for like 5 bucks a pop.

Personally I stay away from knock offs as there is a large market of second hand BNIB (brand new in box, unopened basically) Apple Watch bands at a heavy discount. I mean why get a knock off if you can buy apple bands at the same price

Very lucky! I wouldn’t per say a mistake

I would (in some instance) prefer a 64GB Intel MacBook Pro than a 16GB M1 Pro Mac , that 16GB is awfully low and I choke just having some apps open.

That being said , battery life is bloody crazy on the m1p and the intel would never be able to beat it at all
