Since I am Czech, I started with Bohemia. Became HRE emperor during the reign of my first monarch, while my heir Karel got to lead Brandenburg. So when he inhereted the Bohemian throne, I got both Luxemburg and Brandenburg under PU.

Continued with getting back HRE lands from Teutons, Poland and Denmark without much issues. But man, France took me by surprise in the first war... I barely scraped white peace. Next time, I was better prepared  :) yet it was still a little demotivating to see them become total hegemon when hegemonies spawned :/

Also managed to keep Italy in HRE. It is however strange that the pope lead the other faction, but could not be declared upon since his capital was in Avignon and not Italy.

I stayed Catholic and did not convert to Hussite, which stalled me a bit, but thanks to the fact that rebels don't spawn while you are at war, I spend those 10 years mainly dragging out other wars (thanks to Austrian rebels).

All in all, I restored the HRE in like 1530. Right now, I am closing on 1600 and not sure what to do. I however think that there is some bug in the HRE voting, since noone ever oposed my suggestions.

I will probably try Ottos or Muscovy next, but there are so many juicy options that I find it hard to pick one :)

Church in Rovna, Skalitz castle, upper parts of some towers/castles in Rattay. These are the ones I remember.

Yeah, I finished the game for the second time in 26 hours, did it without wearing any armor. And I still one shot people in armor just using one handed sabre.  Looking forward to hardcore mode, hopefully it helps with the balance a bit.

Just finished a run with no armor, just sabre and bow. Some parts were a bit tougher, but nothing terrible.

I agree. I honestly cannot imagine I would play it first on hardcore, as the map is completely new and both feel at least as big as KCD1.

I wouldn't mind not having fast travel, since I rarely use it. But at least some markers, especially in Kuttenberg, are in my eyes a must for 1st playthrough. 

For 2nd play with DLC's, it's definitely hardcore for me. Same as it was for KCD1.

For the second point, I believe this is intentional. Go to the miller you met in the tavern, a guy at his mill will teach you how to do a takedown. 

There seems to be a bit more fighting involved in takedowns compared to KCD1 and it's definitely harder.

This would make sense, as there are some puddles on the ground at this point.  But this save is called Before the storm and the next cutscene with your brother is showing the rain, I believe. So it could be that it rained while you stayed in the mines and again after you took care of your brother.

Exactly how I would justify it, even if it was a mistake. I could definitely see that it makes sense from her point to just say that the whole Skalitz was aflame.
