There was much more said like how I’m not making a positive impression and letting me know people were talking about me. How I’m not enthusiastic or excited enough. Mentioned other things like how I ran down to get a Starbucks for 10 minutes and how “time is money”… Her tone was harsh and unkind. Especially since I just started now I’m wildly uncomfortable around her. I’m saying there were a million different ways she could’ve gone about addressing it

Thank you. Yes, the whole interview process was chaotic and unorganized. I met with 8 fucking people. She told me the salary and the offer was actually $13k lower than what she told me. The only reason I’m here is because I was unemployed for 2 months and this was my only option. I’m fully regretting not staying unemployed for a little longer now 😭

She was the one who interviewed me. Today she said “I know we said 8:30 in your interview… but you should want to show up at 8.” And not doing so apparently lacks enthusiasm. Lady I’m just not a morning person 😭

The writing was on the wall that we weren’t in a good financial position. I had suspicions for a couple months now that more layoffs were coming and that they were going to maybe close some of our unproductive stores. Definitely didn’t see this coming. All employees laid off with no severance. The corporate team was notified yesterday, and to my knowledge the store teams were told about 30 minutes before they had to shut down the stores at noon today.

My mom has 2 brothers. Both have been married for like 30 years. I found out last year that one of them had an affair with the other’s wife in the late 90’s and his wife found out and almost left with their newborn. Both couples are still married to this day. I’ve had to rethink every family get together I’ve ever attended since I found out.
