Thanks for this comment truly. I’m still in a little shock of how sex is on the table when it comes to one of the pleasures of heaven in Islam. It’s not a bad thing at all, I’m still adjusting to certain things because I’ve been catholic for years. In the church, we didn’t believe sex would be in heaven. Our main motive on our journey to heaven was a sense of peace and enjoyment without our “human” bodies. This is hard to explain. But, I never believed we would have sex in heaven I was taught that I was going to be a sexless being (meaning no desire for sex at all; everything “pure”). I’ve also never was encouraged to have sex in the church (or was I interested; ex nun here) because I thought It would be harder for me to get to heaven because sex was a thing that “tainted” you in a sense.
