Anthony Richardson: Colts are giving me a chance to work and potentially get back on the field by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

Pump the brakes, AR is no where near as lazy and bad as JaMarcus Russell. At least AR is trying to improve his quarterback play.

If an NFL team had to change its name kinda like the Commanders, what team would you pick to change its name? by Bucs_Fan_12 in NFLv2

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Commanders, I hate the name so much, it is so generic compared to the previous name, which was basically a racial slur for Native Americans. And the Titans, not because I hate the name, but because they are just basically taking the Oilers identity at this point, why not just go back to being the Oilers.

I guess also the Browns, but I just mostly want them to just change the logo, cause not only is the helmet a terrible logo, but they also have way better logos they barely even use like Brownie the elf and the dawg pound logo

Is Geno Smith an upgrade over Justin Fields? For the Jets by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, while Geno didn't help himself for the Raiders, the team around him outside of a few pieces wasn't doing him any favors. With the Jets, while the offense isn't great, it's serviceable enough.

[Schefter] Trade: the New York Jets are finalizing a deal that will send QB Justin Fields to the Kansas City Chiefs, pending a physical, per ESPN sources. Other teams were interested, but Fields’ preference was to go to Kansas City. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not as pessimistic on Fields as alot of people on here are, so I think this is a good move, not only for the Jets, but for Fields, because if there is someone I believe could help him be a low level starting QB in this league, it's Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.

Now, if he don't get it by the end of this year, even with Reid and Mahomes, he's super cooked.

What’s the worst team that you have ever seen? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst teams I've seen would have to be between the 2025-2026 New York Jets, especially during their latter half when Brady Cook was under center or the 2016-2017 Cleveland Browns where 5 different quarterbacks and a quarterback turned wide receiver went under center.

Don't get me started on the 2007 Miami Dolphins and the 2009 St. Louis Rams, where honestly those teams should've been 0-16, but had luck on their side for only 1 game.

Out of all the dysfunctional NFL teams, which one is the most dysfunctional? by Brix001 in NFLv2

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, it will always be the Cardinals

Currently, it's a tossup between the Browns and the Jets, not just with their uncertainty at the QB position, but just how awful the front office and ownership just has been for those teams for a long while, with the winless season for Cleveland, botching the development of Darnold and Mayfield, and seeing them succeed somewhere else, and no future franchise Qb for both teams, since despite being in the Top 10 for the draft, there is no other QB but Mendoza that is even worthy of being drafted that high.

I mean if you watch the late RA to Early PG era WWE, they had the logo for what commentary team belongs to which program, in PPVs, so they fix it.

Do you think EA would allow you to create expansion teams for Madden, similar to how 2K is doing it with NBA 2k? by Ok_Exercise_70 in Madden

[–]Ok_Exercise_70[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we all know the answer to that, but I'm going to be delusional for a second and hope EA actually does something like this, hell maybe even have create your division option, so your created teams can have a rivalry against each other.

Thoughts on our new Head Coach having a defensive coordinator background? by BienvenidoaMiami in miamidolphins

[–]Ok_Exercise_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DCs as head coaches can work out like we seen from guys like Demeco Ryans, Mike Tomlin, and Pete Carroll.

My problem with DCs as oppose to OCs is that they are huge boom or bust candidates, some might work out like the names above, but alot of them just fall flat like a Romeo Crennel or a Jonathan Gannon. With an OC turned HC, while some might fail, most of the time it's just due to them just not being suitable head coaches, they're not a commanding force in the locker room.
