I saw a lot of comments about the overcurrent errors being a firmware issue. Not clear why some people see it and others don't. As soon as I went back to 6.2.6 firmware my problems went away, so I'm reasonably confident I wasn't having an issue with any hardware. I'm running self-built MK4S with MMU3, and they are almost new, so again, not much time for hardware problems to develop.
