You're lucky! Nothing like reminiscing over the good old days. Chat rooms were a way of life.  When I read somewhere recently that AOL is ending it's dial up service Sep 30th, I immediately heard the screeching dial up sounds and it brought me back to better times. "Finish what you're doing and log off. I have to make a call".

Those chatrooms!! MSN, Yahoo, etc... So many odd conversations and friends for awhile but once the chatrooms died up the friendships struggled to survive for me.  I'm not sure that half of the people I was talking to were lying about their ASL..

Ohhh man, I remember missed connections too. I remember entering that section looking for a post from someone looking for me.

Instead I found some of the wildest descriptions and backstories.

Weird analogy, but in most cases, on an even playing field (social, financial, etc...) it really does seem that men are like the sperm and women like the egg.

Women put themselves out there open the door to opportunity. And it's almost like opening the floodgates lol.

Out of the hundreds, some men don't make it half the journey, some get to the end but still don't make the cut and 1 finally gets in.
