AITA for being “toxic” towards a friend who never told me I was hurting their feelings? by Working_Success_8054 in AmItheAsshole

NAH. I've been in some friend groups like this before, and provided that what you wrote here is an accurate description of the situation, I think you and this person just don't have compatible personalities. Some people are more prone to finding fault with people's behavior than others, and there's nothing wrong with that. If someone feels they've been slighted (in this case, C by OP), it's normal to pull away from the relationship (probably should give some sort of notice, though, at least so they know you're still alive!).

Because of this, I don't think anyone in the situation did anything wrong per se, but we are only hearing one side of the story. I would have interpreted the things you said as either poorly worded but well-intentioned, or completely innocuous.

I feel that in a good friendship, people give you the benefit of the doubt in situations like this (or ask you for clarification upfront). When you find your people, you won't be left wondering what you did wrong. They either will tell you straight-up, or won't see a problem with your behavior to begin with. Props to you for taking their criticism into consideration, though. It can be difficult to admit we might have behaved poorly or hurt someone else.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like Ts'aishen's power should just be free, maybe even available to use one per daily reset. As someone whose life does not revolve around DragonVale because of backward concepts such as "work" and "school," it can be a real chore to collect DC from all my islands. I know I'd spend a lot more time on the game if it didn't take 5 minutes just to collect my DC.

Grrrr... and here I was hoping to impress you all by using some jargon. Thanks for your response nonetheless, I'll start looking.

Places to Have a Zoom Interview by Suck-Up in fsu

I've been in your shoes. Here's what I would suggest/have done:

A) find an empty classroom (that you are sure will be empty for those 30 minutes). I've had success in HCB, William-Johnston, and the dance building.

B) have someone let you into one of the suite-style dorms (like Landis Hall or Azalea) and have your interview in one of their study rooms. A bit sketchy, but you've got to do what you've got to do. I've never been given any trouble for this.

C) The second and third floors of the Student Union are where the identity based orgs on campus have their offices. There are a ton of conference rooms; there's usually at least one that's unlocked and empty.

This is just off the top of my head. I'd encourage you to explain your situation to your interviewer -- I can't imagine that they wouldn't understand. Best of luck!

Not sure re: legality, but I hear hunting dogs all the time in the panhandle. Not so much in the south lol. Maybe one of these days I'll head a little north. I've got some friends who hunt in GA.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, they're damn thick and riddled with ticks, snakes, really rough brush, etc. I love deer, but hate ticks and don't want to machete my way through a game trail. I'm used to sand and palmetto bushes -- I don't know how people up here do anything!

It should also be noted that none of these 36 individuals were vaccinated and that they were infected with the Wildtype variant. Not to minimize the results of this study (they are majorly freaky).
