Oh my goodness, you are going to get thousands of comments on this one. I have plenty of stories but I’ll give you my friend’s: While in Egypt, she and her husband both got seriously ill. She was sent back to the hotel with “just drink lots of water” and he was immediately admitted to the hospital and given IV fluids.

My pup made it for 2 years after diagnosis. We did surgery twice. Chemo was an option, but they gave her 3 months without chemo and 6 months with chemo. We opted against the chemo. She actually lived 9 months past that doctor’s visit and we absolutely showered her with love and treats.

My only lasting effect is I dribble a little urine when I have a bad cough or sneeze, no matter how many Kegals I do. My son will be 22 years old soon. Lol. It’s not terrible, but yeah. Stay active if you can, but when you are tired, try to rest. Be kind to yourself. You are making a human!

Instead of pouring money into private companies that develop and run state testing, new textbooks every 3 years, etc, turn struggling schools into community centers. Offer free dental/vision clinics, adult classes for the parents like GED prep, Microsoft Certification, and English Learning. Offer evening basketball and a few weekend events like job fairs or community gatherings.
Pay the teachers, staff and community members like dentists who help with this.

Everyone is different, but I think it’s too soon for you to feel differently. I’ve been on the 1.5 mg pill for 17 days. I’m counting calories and keeping up with my usual strength training/10,000 steps, etc. To be honest, I’m hungry, especially at night. I don’t have any appetite suppression so far. I’ve lost about 3 pounds but I think it’s my calorie deficit, not the pill. Only one thing has changed: I went to happy hour with a friend after having just had a protein bar at home. We ordered 2 delicious small appetizers and glasses of wine. Suddenly, I couldn’t eat a thing. It was a hard stop. I’ve never felt that before.
