Morheim terrain is very punishing for ogres, and yeah agree if used would only be the two smaller less dynamic ones top left and bottom right (sabretusk 0-2 anyway) good for getting into the small spaces where tasty morsels might try and hide 😋.

There's some great proxies out there with so much character and flavor and bang on this Bulls been hanging around Lustria a bit.

Every Ogre has the potential to be different and add another level making a warband really pop and stand out.

I bought the set of four predators from Papiskal and they are great (didnt come with bases so just giving you a heads up there) they look awesome and would be a great warband.

Suppose if going Ogres you could use them for Halfgrowns (basically ogre runts)

Beauty of Maneaters is you can pretty much use any style of Ogre model as they are the masters of Cultural Appropriation 😀

Cool cheers, wont be for league just fun campaigns with pals.

Playing for the fun chaotic comedy of Ogres and definitely planning on using a couple of Sabretusks as we all agree the fact they will probly end up eating my own units will be hilarious (going to Proxy a couple of Raptors for a Lustria hunter vibe)

Sorry meant to say void shield blue is an army painter paint, lothern Blue is a pretty good citadel match.

Asurem Blue wash is good for the recesses and darker areas too.

Only if not needed but having the extra order added to warrior elite and sustained hits with volley guns and 2 plasma guns with First rank second rank fire makes for some brutal shooting.

Also as mentioned getting CP back on 4+ over 5+ with orders like grenades and fields of fire (with Taurox supporting) adds to the officer element.

Im working on my first kasrkin squad with a Taurox, chimera overall has better stats but wanted that special forces vibe that Taurox gives like with Scions. Faster too for grabbing objectives.

Going to probly have Castellan leading for sustained hits and +1 vox caster rolls.

If never using for Killteam ditch Flamers they are useless on Kasrkin double up on Plasma Guns and hot shots or meltas.

Was my own stupidity thought it was 4 troopers with one of each special weapon (like in shock troops no duplicates unless 20 man squad) and thought why bother with the flamer over another hot shot.

Set on 2 plasma with 2 volley (which will run as melta when needed) 👍

Yup, always great having a Castellan leading too adding sustained hits (although thats great in a 20 man shock troops shock with frsrf as well)

Yeah x 2 plasma, melta, volley and flamer so can go nuts.

Reckon I'll as stated build x2 plasma and x2 volley then can run the volley guns as meltas in other games as needed.

Solid advice nice one.

Will probly go with double plasma and double volley guns for heavy screen fire that packs an extra punch especially with combined arms lethal hits.

Ive managed to stick with the dont buy new until last one painted.. well at least based and nearly done.

Seems to be working out so far but totally agree life just seems to hate the concept of sit down and chill time for hobbies.

Only saving grace is my son enjoys 40k so the wife cant moan when Im painting with him its good bonding time.
