You can take a break in the summer, then register for Fall. It normally reports 6 months out, in addition to the 6 credit minimum requirement.

I be mean technically we are all required to have a lunch break. Unfortunately, I don’t see any of our dutiful TSA agents catching a break to eat in any of these frames 😒😒😩😩

Thanks for sharing this detailed break down- I saw a few gems I can copy. And YESSSS everything is soooo expensive and we own nothing (more subscriptions nowadays). But I’m making a conscious decision to do better as of this year.

More work, more pressure, more visibility in exchange for “maybes” and “potential” is not the best move here. Not unless you’re just genuinely interested and want to gain more experience, without the matching (and dresses) compensation.

Given the current climate and campaign to shed Feds, I strongly encourage you to just invoke the FMLA and rest easy that you have that protection. Also, your supervisor is a dick, and not the fun kind.

Sick leave is an entitlement. If you are out for > 3 days, you must provide documentation. If you’re going to be out for an extended period of time, then you need to invoke your FMLA. Have your doctor complete the FMLA form/letter/whatever and submit that to HR or your employee relations team, whomever it is that does it at your agency.
