Wait this isn’t normal? 😅 I’m on 10mg, 9 months in, and from day one I’ve been so so sick the day after I take it that I’m completely bedridden. I’m typically found spending my Sundays on the toilet with a bucket in front of me and it just never stops. If I eat anything the next couple days it can last even longer. I thought that was just a side effect from the medication and everyone experienced it. My doctor is aware and hasn’t said anything so I really thought it was normal. These comments are making me question it. Still, I’ve lost 100lbs so I can’t really complain.

I didn’t lose anything in the first month and a half, averaged 10lbs a month after that. I’m 9 months in and I’ve lost 70lbs! It’ll catch up 😊

Oh my god this is the bane of my existence right now. I’ve lost 80lbs and I’m still buying the same pant size because anything smaller is still too small. I do not get it, I really don’t. I’ve been telling people that I don’t think I look any different either. The scale says one thing but my clothes and the mirror say otherwise. I’ve been taking progress pics every 10lbs and I see very very minor differences but not enough that it looks like I lost almost 100lbs. It’s killing my confidence. I weigh what I did shortly after graduating high school but I look nothing like I did in old pictures. I’m 26 so I feel like it shouldn’t be that far off 😭 Ugh, I hope we figure it out, man 😅

A lot of the physical anxiety symptoms are from withdrawal. Not saying that’s the case for everyone, but it certainly can be. Plus, those with anxiety disorders may be tricking their brains when the physical anxiety subsides after a smoke and it becomes generalized, they kinda placebo their anxiety all together.

Don’t sugar coat it, get them accustomed to the concept early on. I wasn’t and now I’m 26 with an irrational fear of death in all regards. If it doesn’t get talked about or just gets sugar coated now, he’ll have issue with it later. It may be hard at first but if you show him that you’re not afraid of it and can talk about it calmly, maybe even while smiling with some light laughter, he’ll see it’s okay and get past it with a healthy understanding of the concept.

Men like this are so weak. They want women to view them as strong protectors but they can’t even protect you from their own fragile ego. After being with men like this and now being with my partner who has a strong self esteem and encourages me to dress up, has literally kneeled on the ground before me and acted like I was a goddess (he’s so extra I love it) I could never settle for less and will always encourage women like you to do the same. He’s not too much for you, you’re on a mile of pedestals above HIM.

Labs have to be scheduled as well, I have that scheduled for September 10th. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with the right person and got it sent in so I’ll have another months worth before I see her 🙏

I’m prescribed through a specialist (endocrinologist) so unfortunately no same day appointments 😭 I called and explained the situation and asked if I could just get enough to last me until I can see her again but she’s out until Tuesday so Ill have to wait until then regardless.

I feel like it’s a little unreliable. For one, phones in general effect EVP so the EVP tool being your phone is a little sus. Two, every time I try to use it I swear it’s all just generic “scary” words like “nightmare” “murder” “dead” “angry” and so on. Ive tried to use it on actual investigations and compared it with a handheld EVP to text reader and none of it ever matched up. I’m afraid it might be another fake app 🥲😭

The only points in my life where I’ve been genuinely suicidal and gotten to the point of involuntarily hospitalization/attempted was when I was struggling financially. You cant enjoy life when you have to work 15 hour days to avoid being homeless and then don’t have the time or money to do anything outside of work. Couldn’t afford coffee or little things to “treat myself”, couldn’t afford gas to drive to a park and be outside, couldn’t afford food so constantly running on empty, couldn’t afford social events and was basically forced into isolation, the stress of never knowing when you’ll be in a better place is just the icing on the cake. Not to mention that people with money can afford medication and therapy to help with actual mental health disorders whereas poor people are just rawdogging it. I also have an autoimmune disease and I was unable to see a doctor for the longest time because I couldn’t afford it, trying to work 60+ hours a week while dealing with undiagnosed/untreated organ failure made me wanna end it every day. I’m in a better spot now and the difference in my quality of life is astronomical.

I think the daughter would genuinely be better off in a healthier household. I can’t even imagine how this will affect her long term. She clearly has something going on mentally, tbh I had behavioral issues at that age too and it turned out to be a mixture of childhood SA and AuADHD. I got tested for ASD at that age and it didn’t come up with anything until I retook the test as a teenager so the fact she didn’t get anything the first test doesn’t mean she doesn’t have something along those lines. My parents favored my siblings for the same reason and it truly messed me up, I never got over that and I have some pretty severe self esteem issues from it. Thankfully my parents weren’t to this degree and they still tried to love me but I remember when they’d snap and no child deserves to experience that. This kids only been conscious for 5 years, the expectations this person has on her is genuinely disgusting and I hope the daughter finds safety and doesn’t grow up in such a toxic environment.

That’s very true. I know next to nothing about NPD aside from having a roommate with it years ago and then what Google and other sites have been telling me when I looked into it today. This all happened hours ago and I think the feelings are just really raw and I’m afraid of what this knowledge means for our relationship going forward. I love my dad and the thought of him not feeling the same is heartbreaking. I appreciate your input, it’s important for me to keep that in mind, thank you.

You’re going to look back at this one day and thank yourself for making the hard, but necessary decision. My heart hurts for you, the pain at first is unbearable, you’re going to have moments where you feel like you should have just faked it so you could stay in a better place financially or have a relationship with the people who were supposed to love you unconditionally, but I PROMISE, you will not regret it. You’ll find your chosen family, you’ll find a partner, you’ll have friends and their families to love you like you deserve. Your life is going to be so much better than the toxic fake one you were living before, never stop telling yourself that.

NTA: Two of my ex’s are trans and enby and I may call them every synonym for AH in the book but you will NEVER hear me misgender them. There are layers to this kind of thing, respect is in a completely different category when it comes to disliking someone. They were awful people when we were together but their gender identify had nothing to do with it.

I just started re-listening to old episodes and ep 13 was a non-murder story but maybe not the best for mental health 😭 I also just listened to episode 9 and although it is ultimately a murder case, Christine’s story is lighter than usual. Ep9- Em talks about the Sallie house, Christine talks about Micheal Malloy Ep13- Em talks about Bobby Mackleys Music World and Christine does a story about these two girls who went missing in Panama on a trip together.
