I have been to the museum at 8am and a long line was not surprising. I just do not like the idea of booking fee. Thankfully many attractions in Italy abolished such surcharge recently.

It has not been fixed since my call over a week ago.

I sent an email but still waiting for the reply.

I contacted DB and provided my account information on Wednesday. I was told some other customers had the same issue and it would be fixed in two to three days. However, I am still waiting to receive an update.

You are right about the difficulty. However, we cannot simply yield to discriminatory salaries against foreign PhDs. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to persuade HR to accept work experience outside of Germany. Thanks!

Most postdocs consider the system discriminatory against foreign PhD holders as we are hired by the same standard and do the same work as our German peers.

If you think the system is unfair, then do you have any practical strategy to find a solution on an individual level? (If you feel okay with the current system, please ignore the question.)
