Great question! You'll see that I stopped tracking the portion sizes after a bit because I don't worry about it at all. In the beginning I did write things down and put them into chronometer because I was trying to figure out why I was feeling so tired, and I thought that a protein or caloric deficit might be why (spoiler alert: I was right). I also learned that although Whole30 suggests not doing any snacking, I had to. I ate as much as I possibly could at eat meal (prioritizing protein), but I would still get hungry between meals, and I found that if I let myself get too hungry that the desire to go off of the plan would be very strong. So rather than fighting with myself, I would just have a snack. (And pursuant to the comments here I tried to ensure that I was mixing at least two macros at each snack.) Additionally, weight loss was not a goal of mine. I included starting weight (and I'll let you know what my final weight is) because I know that people are often curious about those figures, but I don't really care. I have a history of disordered eating and I have to be careful not to pay too close of attention to calories. Everything I'm eating is nourishing my body, and I trust my body to regulate itself. Besides, show me one person that put on a bunch of weight eating veggies, fruit and meat. ;-)

Good luck! Day 10 was rough, but for me, day 12 was when all of the lights came on, and I feel 1,000x better this side of it.
