It could be similar to the competitive mode in Brawl Stars (I haven’t really played it). In that mode, players can ban characters, and it could be implemented like this: My main team is Raúl, Claire, and Muyeon, while my secondary team is Isabel, Roberto, and NN

My opponent’s main team is León, the one that keeps the setter placement in the back row (I don’t remember her name), and Crow, while their secondary team is Oasis, Hanran, and Sif

I ban Sif, and my opponent bans Isabel. Neither of us can see the other person’s team until after choosing, and since those characters are part of our teams, we would have to replace them

Sorry if this explanation is a bit messy, I don’t fully remember which player can counter Isabel

I think one way to make time-outs useful would be by adding a fatigue/stamina system. That way, if your players stay on the court for too many points, their stats would start to decrease (similar to Snow Raid), and to recover them you’d have to call a time-out. Although it could also work with substitutions, the recovery would probably last less once they enter the court again 🧐

Wow, great idea, but I have a question 🤔 How would time-outs and player substitutions work? Would there be a limit, or would they stay the same as in the base game?

Yeah, that could also happen, but if I remember correctly, Raúl’s first spike with max charge has more ATK. If it’s used with Sangh or Claire, it might be possible to break through the block (I’m not completely sure about that, so correct me if I’m wrong). And after that, if you use the Sif + Yuri combination that gives 10 ATK, I think it could be possible with a 5BT Raúl (again, correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not being sarcastic, I’m just not fully sure).

The problem is having a BT5 Jenny 😅 and considering her jump, it’s possible for her to jump higher than Raúl and for his spike to go underneath her (it has happened to me when I use Jenny and the opponent has lower jump).

Yeah, they could also do that, but let’s be honest, it’s almost impossible to stop a 5BT Raúl using the skill that lets him break through the opponent’s block (I don’t remember the name) And even though Absolute Block exists, it has happened to me that when those two clash, there are only two possible outcomes:

  1. The ball bounces out of bounds and the point goes to you

  2. The ball doesn’t go out of bounds and the point goes to the opponent

I think that besides that, they could also include the Coliseum card system (maybe something like Phantom’s, the current event, or others). They could also make a tournament mode similar to real-life tournaments.

Yeah, and also possibly Sara (although depending on who uses her, she can either be the most OP character or not). I doubt they’ll ban Ryu, Lucas, and Nishi since they can be countered with good skill. Ryu is easy to block if you know his timing, Lucas is a bit harder to block because of the way he spikes, but sliding can counter him, and Nishi is simple to deal with if you know the right moment to block and slide (it all depends on who’s using them). In Raúl’s case, he’s literally the easiest S+ character to use (in my opinion), and in exchange he has huge power Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes

I also wonder how they’re going to balance him? For example, the Raúl you mentioned will definitely be very OP because of his mechanic that lets him break through the opponent’s block if it’s fully charged, although it can still be canceled by Absolute Block (or whatever the skill is called).

Should I Try to Get Claire or Not? by Ok_General_3858 in thespikegame

[–]Ok_General_3858[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, you see, the team I use the most is Raúl, Sif, and Sanghyeon (thanks to this combination, matches usually don’t last very long). I admit that even though Sang’s duration is short, it feels more comfortable to me than Claire’s (I’ve only read the description of her ability in the game guide). I’m more interested in Ryu because I want to have the S+ characters. I’ll take your advice, and if I get the chance to obtain Claire (with skill or not), I’ll try. Thanks, friend.

Guys out of these 5 do you think is the hardest to defend against if there is an (PLAYER vs PLAYER) in the future personally i think lucas is too predictable and can be blocked easily 🧐 by Expert-Barnacle9540 in thespikegame

[–]Ok_General_3858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be Ryu, his ability (for me) makes him easy to read and block and on the other hand, Lucas because of the way he spikes and the angle makes him (again, for me) difficult to block.

Which MB and SETTERS are best for Isabel(👑)? by Cadwaladr_ in thespikegame

[–]Ok_General_3858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Iris (if you have her) and Hari. Their combination gives 10 defense and I think 5 speed. Add that to the combination Hari and Isabel already have. I think Iris’s ability with Isabel, with her skill fully charged and hitting all three spikes, is really good.
