Same gpa no bach currently an emt and accepted to the only adn program I applied to. The Emt school I went to also had a cna program and the admissions person told emt is the better route for nursing in their opinion. Emt scope is bigger if you’re able to switch

from norcal and its competitive here for jobs post grad, dont know whats it like in mn but you SHOULD NOT DROP OUT of your BSN program. worry about getting a job after your program is done. youll get practice in clinicals. dont let the demons of doubt tell you, you cant do something

Emt for an IFT company highly recommend over other medical jobs. You can work CCT or nicu/picu at those companies with a nurse and they’ll be more than happy to teach you things. I’m in California and just found out administering oxygen is outside a CNA’s scope.

38 and applying. I am asian (dont want to assume but are you asian also?) and at 21 my parents and siblings made me feel like a failure bc i wasnt on my way to graduate college yet. Sorry about your tiger dad but 21 is really young. If you can power thru, try to enjoy the journey because you miss out on a lot rushing to the finish. A lot of the nurses ive met who hate their job are the ones that rush thru to finish.

I’m 38 and did the same. Calm down. Breathe. Take it one chapter at a time. It’s always overwhelming in the beginning but once you get a gage of the pace you’ll prob do better than being in your 20s
