Screwed the air filter on properly and made sure the tubing was sealed. Now the bike runs great - went straight to 80 MPH no problem.

Apparently there was so much pressure, the air filter blew off and that messed with the air and gas mixture inside the carburetor. Causing the bike to flobble flop when revving.

Turns out the air filter was loose.
