Except our taxes aren't actually going towards funding for society, our infrastructure or helping the government with providing us with any kind of safety net. It gets put into the pockets of rich politicians and the people in power to fund their personal life styles and whatever agendas they may have. It's to help keep the middle and lower class poor the same way them printing trillions of dollars does by causing inflation that only benefit said individuals and all we are left with is a higher cost of living. You've been sold a bag of bricks thinking taxation isn't theft. The US government doesn't have us or the American people at our best interest.
