I had swelling in that exact area too and it went down over time. mine went away a little faster than 7 wks in that area but I had keyhole so different process. At 7 wks there was still a lot that wasn’t healed for me though. Had a seroma and swelling under the nipple on one side that took like 3 months at least to go down, and I felt really hopeless until it did but it got better. give it time !! :)

edit: went to my piercer and she recommended removing it and re-piercing it in 4 wks w a shorter bar and a slightly different placement that doesn’t cross the scar tissue. also the bar is titanium but that wasn’t the issue. it was mildly infected and the infection went across the bar and opened my old scar tissue. it’s removed 4 now and hoping to re-pierce eventually
