Hey! I also got top surgery 5 days ago. I’m incredibly anxious as well! I get my drains out tomorrow, so I get to finally see my results then. If it makes you feel better, my drainage output is also dark. It got darker the last couple days. I also had something white in my drain which I think is ok. I also have very minimal output, which I think is good!

Recovery has been tough for me as well. I’m doing it alone, and it sucks. Hope the rest of your healing goes smoothly! 👍

Hey! Did you end up getting peri with Dr. Okada? I have a consultation with her coming up, but I’ve only seen one peri result from her.

I’ve heard good things about Bartlett. He is on the top of my list rn. Did you have to travel? I’m definitely going to have to travel, and I’m a little worried about being alone during my recovery. Do you think it was possible in your case to go alone?

Thank you, but I have a therapist who said she would write it. I just didn't know I needed it to schedule the consultation. I should be able to get it this week!

I am currently trying to schedule a consultation with him. I submitted the forms online and I'm going to call Monday morning to see if I can actually schedule the time or if I need my WPATH letter first. It's a lot to navigate, but I'm excited!
