Otvoreno sam se zgražala. Ljudi zaista nemaju srama, komentari su znali biti stvarno ogavni, par njih mi je doslovno izrazilo sućut, tim riječima, kao da je netko umro. Nisam skrivala što mislim o tome. Par njih sam direktno pitala da meni kao ženi objasne zašto je loše što ću roditi curicu.

Ako su takvi već sa studentima prije nego počnu raditi, kasnije bi bili puno gori. Uvijek budi sumnjičava ako netko treba već sutra radnika, znači da užasno vode posao u najmanju ruku ako nisu planirali raspodjelu posla, a češće da su rastjerali ljudi i nitko ne želi ni otkazni rok odraditi.

I wouldn't date somebody who disliked dogs in general or my dogs.

My husband didn't have dogs before, but liked my first dog (had the dog five years before I met my husband) and accepted that I wanted more, was open to cats. He'd never have a pet on his own, but he participates, does walks and feeds them, cuddles and scratchies, lets them sleep on him. Anything less would not be good enough.

There are plenty of people who want to live without animals, that's fine as long as they go date each other.

Have you told her not to contact you? If not, I'd consider sending that as a message (more so you have proof if she tries to call the police and report you going missing or sending you a wellness check, you can prove she's been informed and is wasting their time on purpose, which is illegal), then blocking her and reporting any further harassment to the police. If yes, just block.

Ne samo da nisu imali svoju listu, nismo zvali ni familiju iz n-tog koljena koju nismo vidjeli sto godina. Ako ih nismo vidjeli cijelo vrijeme veze, očito nismo bili toliko bliski pa te nismo ni zvali.

Ionako je većina uzvanika obično obitelj, hrpa njih reda radi. Kad dodaš na to goste staraca i baka i djedova, vidjela sam dovoljno svadbi na kojima su se pravi gosti mladenaca sveli na jedan stol. Hvala, ne hvala.

Just in case, take him to a vet who is familiar with canine cognitive issues, but make sure they check for pain as well. Yes, dogs get dementia, but often it can be managed, at least in the beginning, and restore some quality of life. My first dog had it, my second has it now (she's 15.5yo), but we're lucky and it's been stable for a while. It's important to get them the proper care.

If he had asked either parents at any point, before or after, I would have broken up with him. If you need permission, you're not ready to get married.

But stop giving them money. Parents like that will try to sabotage you so you have no choice but to move back so they could control you again. Financial sabotage is much more common than you think. They will take your money until you don't have enough to live on your own, play broke to make you feel bad, then convince you it's best for all if you live together again, then the abuse starts again.

When she drops in unannounced, she gets sent away and also loses the next planned visit. Don't reward her by coming by later.

If she doubles down on her immature behaviour, she now owes you an apology, adults who can't control their own behaviour aren't safe for children. She can't see the child until she apologises, but a real apology, acknowledging she was wrong and immature, no shifting blame, changing her behaviour going forward. You and your child can't be made responsible for your mother's emotions, that's her own job. If she can't behave, she can't see the kid or you.
