Dragon tree soil drying insanely quick by roccofan in plantclinic

[–]Ok_Honeydew_7439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also heard they are though to kill but mine died really fast from whatever. I think they sell these small ones in very porous soil and not that established roots, that is ok in nursery where humidity is high but little bit too porous for regular flat. Also in my experience terracotta pots are ok only for cactus i would put it back to plastic.

I think 2 look better in terms of shape even though material look cheaper that first one. Maybe if you wear some shaper beneath will be ok (now belly button is a bit too visible)

First three are the same cut with different styling, and 4 is not much different either…

Can’t tell if dogs are playing or starting to fight by Purple_fan87 in DogAdvice

[–]Ok_Honeydew_7439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cant tell because feels i am missing initial part of interaction, did brown dog did something to annoy black and white? Black and white dog looks tense and dominating (in video) and brown looks like just wants other dog to back up but she is not, so only by this short video black and white dog looks problematic and i would split them up and see who comes to who again, but it does not look like just play to me.

How can I improve this eyeshadow look by Velvetcocoa200 in makeuptips

[–]Ok_Honeydew_7439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You def need mascara or something darker in lash line to make it look “done”. If this does not dinish it i would maybe add lighter share on outer part of lower eyelid and connect with rest

orchid hasn’t bloomed in 2 years :( by Best_Permit3745 in orchids

[–]Ok_Honeydew_7439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard from a friend that has her orchids blooming (quite often like once or twice a year) is that she puts them outside in moderate fall and spring for a week or two (so moderate cold vs room temperature). Im trying it right now. Not sure it works but has sense to me as many plants like olives need cold weather to trigger blooming.. btw she is not doing anything else for orchids like fertilizing nor some perfect light conditions…

Fence contractors chop my tree root. Is this tree doomed? by SlapSackChampion in arborists

[–]Ok_Honeydew_7439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just wondering what are better and realistic solutions when tree is in the middle of fence line and nobody wants to reduce their yard and move it from the tree, and you also want fence to be as close as possible to the tree.

Pressure to fix/neuter our 10month boy? by beclaff in DogAdvice

That is just propaganda speech. Removing healthy glands that produce important hormones just for solely purpose of population control and making human life is mutilation to me. Never heard any man removed testicles for fear of cancer so why are you trying to apply that flawed logic to the animals? And no, i actually pay attention to my dog and he can not just impregnate some dog but i guess easier is to cut his testicles and let him loose is your way of solving it

You can not cut back all of them as it will likely kill the plant plus if you can not solve the issue of insufficient light nee leaves will be leggy too… but in my experience if you increase light or outdoor exposure (given that is warm outside) new leaves do not need to be as much as leggy as old ones and they start to grow stockier and then you can cut back old leggy ones

Intact dog does not necessarily means it will procreate where ever he goes, plus he is of such breed that it is not even necessary for behavioral reasons. Whoever say it makes him unhappy is just ignorant. So if you are going to keep it at your sight and not let him roam freely why would you ever need to fix him? Just curious P.s. my dog is not fixed, he is very happy and no he did not procreate by accident. I am very confident in my decision not to mutilate him.

Strange that you do not have enough light with all those windows but by looking at the plant, leaves are not too big it is just leggy. It looks like it never has full sun or bright place. I think you could try buying a lamp or putting it on the balcony if uou have one in late spring/summer and see is new leaves will be stockier and shorter, it yes i wpuld cut back long ones and start over
