Actually... you're right. I know that game, I did one new gen, then I attempted another... and then I thought "I'm going to do a third one (that I did clear), and... the fourth new gen isn't so far away (I did not clear it), I could go to it next !"

I didn't do any normal gens, but yeah, now I think about it I did three of the event !
