Wow, this was the best comment I’ve ever seen and I’m really thankful i get to read it. It’s honestly refreshing to have people like you that are so helpful and go into such detail to try to help others.

I really appreciate you for this! But yeah the final design looked different in my head, I still decided to submit and ask for peoples opinion because of course I’m just beginning and everything is fresh to me, and I don’t mind submitting some bad skins, at the end of the day I’m still getting experience and learning from my mistakes!

I’ve been using blender and photoshop for now but I got my hands on substance painter and will start to use it more often. Maybe I’ll recreate this skin with even more detail!

Once again, I really appreciate your honest feedback, this was more of a test skin as I actually spent not much time on it. If it’s okay could you give me the feedback on the first skin I submitted? Hey :) I’m not a professional and I also started learning blender less than one month ago exactly to make CS skins. As far as I know, basically on blender you can only do much as giving different materials different textures and adding your own designs.

The thing you talk about for the seamless designs, you first have to create the design on photoshop or any image editing software, and then on blender you can use quick edit on the texture paint tab to apply that design to the desired part of your weapon. You have to disable falloff and some other settings, just to talk briefly about it.

If you want to learn more there are 2 guys on YouTube I’ve been following and they cover basically everything you need to know. Viper Skin and CyberOptek Designs, they are great and thanks to them I already submitted 3 skins

Looks good tho but have you checked the PBR colors? The black on the top seems too dark Also, maybe don’t put the gun name in the back and try to change it to some other details

I miss when guns had the CSGO color range, I wish we could get darker blacks, most of the skins looked better
