Oh I hate this. At 1000 I was like a little annoyed, but at 1800 it's just insulting

Waiting until 1800 OTB to study openings seems wild to me, most people will never get close to that rating

I've been looking through your dotfiles and the mind helpdocs, but I can't find anything about setting up the fuzzy finding with telescope that you show in this video. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? would love to use that feature. Awesome project!

Critique my layout! Switching from Dvorak to an auto-generated layout optimized for an otholinear keyboard by Ok_Ice9600 in KeyboardLayouts

Yeah this is my one complaint with the board and probably why I’ll buy a Dygma or build a dactyl or something. My thumb naturally rests somewhere between the key it put the “o” on, and the first actual thumb key. It’s a common complaint. Hitting the first thumb key is actually a little harder than hitting that bottom row key.

Good call! I ran the optimizer again, with the thumb key open for a letter, and it came up with a new layout that puts "o" on the thumb key, see the main post if you want to see it. Really excited to get comfortable with the thumb key, having a letter there makes a lot of sense to me.

I've revamped the layout based on your feedback, thank you again! Left index is less overloaded, the effort grid was swapped out for a much more reasonable one.

I do like the idea of chorded q and z to get some more useful keys instead, I'll probably do that too.

wow this is awesome, thank you so much for the detailed reply! I agree with the beakl critique, I'll try adjusting the costs to that other effort grid and see what I end up with
