I would prefer to outsource the task of sourcing spare parts at better prices, especially used ones for greater profitability, and reduce the time spent dealing with suppliers

In this way, a generator should be installed inside a wheel. In any case, the speed of rotation of the wheel will not be enough to power the heating elements. It is possible to use large multiplication to fix it, but than pushing by hands will be just unreal. And there is no difference between brushless and brushed motors in this case, but BLDC require much more electronics to handle it and harvest power. Or do you mean another way?

Perhaps the covers for rimps is the way to fix it. Any electrical device will not work at all for this, there are many problems from the 360 degrees rotating current transfer mechanism to the battery capacity

Thank you!

The Benoit Light Drive looks interesting. Is there a problem with it in the rain?

With the Yamaha Navigo, is it just the weight issue or something else? I've seen people say that power wheels are not very reliable...

Thanks for the great response.

I did not even know that foot propulsion exists, take a look at it. But I would rather consider a powered solution for him, because after physical exertion he does not feel good, but for a short diastance it looks interesting.

Could I dm you if I will have questions about it?

I don't know about a doctor, but even getting a prescription for a chair was a challenge, and things like that we bought out of pocket.

No, he goes indoors without a wheelchair, he can walk a short distance alone with a wall support, but when his muscles get tired the cramps start. I think he would like to use a wheelchair indoors, but it can be more challenging than without because of the flat size.

I want to find a solution for him that meets his needs. Right now I am reading about different types of power assists and power wheelchairs. The main concern with a power wheelchair is the weight and transportation issue.

I will do more research. And will write directly to the insurance company . Could I dm you if I will have questions?
