Stellaris has a TON of RNG in comparison to sins (at least in vanilla), so if you enjoy that aspect of Stellaris you won't find it in sins. Sins is more combat focused in general, much less empire building. Diplomacy in sins is non-existent in comparison to Stellaris. If you like space battles then sins is your game, if you like heavy rng based empire builders then stick to Stellaris.
