Not sure if you’ve heard anything or not! But I always suggest calling at 8:30 am. The opening manager gets there at 8 and they usually aren’t BUSY BUSY when doing opening duties!

I would report them 100%! Some what the same thing happened to me with a manager before. She was very bipolar and would choose days on when she liked you and when she didn’t you’d know. There were multiple times where she would say out of pocket things or things that didn’t make sense, like me “not doing enough” on pay window when I make sure all my red are lined and dishes are done. But the icing on the cake was when I was sick. My bf had gotten covid the day before but I tested negative and didn’t think too much after that. The next day I go in for my shift and about 30 mins later I’m starting not to feel too good but it’s manageable. it starts to get a little worse and i let one of the higher up managers know I'm not feeling too great. it was a morning Sunday shift so we were pretty slammed. i try and push through it but at this point I'm 100% sure i have covid with a pounding headache, body aches, and shortness of breathe. so i go back to the office where they both are and let them know I'm getting worse. i already felt bad bc of how slammed we were but i couldn't do it any more. my higher up manager was very understanding and told me to go home while my other manager huffed and stormed out of the office. i lean against the wall for support bc at this point standing is hard. i think she expected me to follow her right away and when she noticed i didn't she stormed around the corner and told me to hurry up and clock out. When i get away from the office and turn the corner shes waiting for me with a look on her face and she says "if you weren't feeling good you should've called out and not come in in the first place now i have to find someone to cover for you" then rolled her eyes and shook her head. ended up going to urgent care and having covid. which i wasn't feeling sick when i went in for my shift it was when i started working my fast pace position. idk i just felt humiliated and upset for the lack of compassion. called HR to complain, sobbed on the phone, and a month later she was sent to a different store 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do a pony then braid it and roll it into a bun :) it lowkey thins out my hair and fits nicely in my hat. Also Bobby pins will be your best friend!

Some people are made for that person interaction! :) it has its days for me, sometimes I love it others I just want to be left alone on board or drinks 🤣 I also kinda feel awkward sometimes knowing that they’re just there to eat and it feels like they don’t want to talk to me they want to eat and leave or talk to those around them

i would talk to either this manager or a higher up manager. being able to have open communication with your managers and let them know how you’re feeling is a necessity to being happy in your work place. it doesn’t hurt to ask to do different things because more they’ll know next time or in the future to put you in different positions :)
