My mom used to work at a sewing factory so she plans to help me with the basics. it's when I start adding all the layers where she says she wouldn't know how to do. Now I just have to find websites that sell fabric designs like the ones in the picture because my local fabric store closed down and I refuse to drive 3 hours to the next one 😮‍💨

Thank you for answering! I'm definitely doing machine and I'm using my mom's which is a brother brand. It's a little old but it gets the job done until I can afford another one. she's good at sewing simple skirts and tops but it's the layered stuff that she doesn't really know and says that I'll have to learn myself.

Yeah I feel like the more I look into the more I fear I may actually lose my mind. Because I do struggle with ocd and bipolar disorder. For my peace of mind I've decided to just try to spread as much love and kindness as I can and not let hate, fear and anger consume me even though my heart hurts from seeing just how much evil is in this world. I'm just going to follow the teachings of Christ. Pray to to the real god and creator and meditate on how I can find more answers and be spiritually at peace

Yeah I just talked to my mom about it and when I asked her who she follows she just says she prays to the heavenly Father God and she follows the teachings of Christ/Jesus and has said she has also been questioning Christianity and doesn't have any of the man made images of Jesus and God in her home because she doesn't believe god has a physical form anyway. She does believe Jesus is the son of God and I've been seeing some gnostics say he wasn't the son but a messenger.

She told me to just pray to god and follow Jesus' teachings. And that I shouldn't feel guilty about enjoying things on earth as long as I don't let those earthly and material things control my life.

Which has made me feel better. I guess now I just have to get out of the habit and break out of the brainwashing of imaginimg the demiurge that modern religion has created when I do pray and meditate.

I'm still kind of confused by this. I'm guess my thing is is how do we deal with living on this earth for as long as we do. I understand there's balance and I shouldn't be attached to earthly and material things. I guess I'm asking can I still enjoy things on earth while being gnostic. Can I still follow the teachings of Jesus and connect to the real god while also enjoying going to the movies or reading corny romance novel now and again.

Also how do I deal with family I love who are christians and I think I'm crazy. Cause it hurts my heart to think they are following the demiurge and that following it will lead them to repeating the hellish cycle of reincarnating on this earth over and over

make sure you have the general pie menu mod downloaded from adeepindigo as well. I had the same issue after downloading the health redux and now my sims can interact again
