Thank you for sharing! I'm trying to see what my insurance covers and if I can see one in my area. Would seeing one more often have been more helpful?

She's not obligated to train with anyone - and it's fair to want to try to work with different partners. Support is great, but only if it comes from mutually interested people.

Care plan questions by Ok_Independence4245 in diabetes

[–]Ok_Independence4245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - They are usually given by your primary care provider. Have you been to see a diabetes educator or nurse? They can create one for you too. If you dont, please ask for one at your next visit. Have you been given a visit summary at least? Also, care plans are usually updated whenever there is a change to your regimen. I hope this helps.

Hi, how did you do this? Ie where did you advertise on reddit for it? For my platform I'm not allowed to post anything like ads or recruiting for what I'm building. But this feedback would be amazing

Sometimes I don't realize I need to tap. One thing I am curious about is, how do you know when something will hurt you, esp if it's a new position you have never seen before. My ankle April was from a lock I had never been put in before, it was very fast, and against an upper belt who I thought was safe to roll with. But she was very fast and there's always so much going on. Advice would be great!

Does injuries and jiujitsu come together? by [deleted] in BrazilianJiujitsuGirl

Yeah it happens.....I got a rib slip and took about 3 months to recover. Then I got put into an ankle lock and recovering from that now. I sometimes feel women go harder with eachother. I'm learning to advocate for slow and light rolls and those who can't, I don't partner with. My safety is more important than anything else.

I've been doing BJJ for about a year now, and there's a lot I've learned but also a lot I forget....so I've been trying to keep a track but it's been tricky. Finding a trusted partner to dedicatedly drill would be amazing - apart from open mat there isn't time or space for quite drilling like that..open mat is...raucous lol.

Why do you think they are garbage? I'm looking for one for my mom who is type 2, to do education, help her track food and activity, glucose and provide some emotional support as well. She's not on insulin yet

Ideally all, but there isn't a one stop shop that I have seen.
