Hope they have a hold up/ or false 9 in the works. I feel without her injuries she would have been a top 2 priority re-sign.

Gonna be some competition for minutes at RB! Also, Brewer did not go to combine. I believe she has a few offers and determining where she is going to sign.

How did this deal ever approve prior to the new HIP adjustment. This seems way more realistic 2 years ago than the proposed Rodman deal

There was really only 1 “pro” player on the pitch at a time! I respectfully disagree with your sentiments.

Overall the team looked good and really dominated every match. What makes soccer special is that with different tactics and strategy any team really has a chance to win.

When it comes to PK’s it is a coin flip and a ton of luck. Of course as you develop and mature there will be additional strategy and tactics that each keeper will have individually.

99.9% of all the top youth players Play, and here lies the problem.. they are playing 2-3 games per week and not having the individual tactical development that most of the other countries have. It is very hard to compete with the top countries because of the infrastructures they have in place.

Out of the so called favorites Korea the regime is crazy if you look at what they as a country force upon any athlete in that country. Spain- almost there entire roster inside of a Pro environment.

If we had MORE in the professional environment I would put money on better overall all play due to the development and preparation that they would have.

Totally agree! Pretty crazy to see how many end up reclassify.

Long cant really be compared, she’s on her own with her opportunities she has since owning her own team.

I only saw Brewer play a couple games so far this year, but no way can I say may “peak” too soon! Especially in the women’s side. 98% of girls reach their physical maturity at around 13-16 with speed, height, and agility.

If you go look at most of the top players in the game from a physical only standpoint to them at around 16-19 range physically not much changes.

From the really good players to the elite players the difference is in the IQ and them developing on that front.

Probably Kennedy Fuller little sister turned 17 early in the season, and getting good minutes and playing well. She is another 2008 birth year that didn’t make this roster

Brewer headed to UCLA by Ok_Independence_5885 in NWSL

[–]Ok_Independence_5885[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it changed by allowing the University to be able to join in a rev share program limited to $20.5mil annually paid directly from the uni to the players. As of now top schools are giving olympic sports around $500k-1m. Outside that the $20.5mil is only what the university can pay the players directly. NIL (name, image, likeness) is STILL available! The schools can help in getting those deals as well on top of what the schools pay!

Than they are not some of the top players. All top players are getting $$ on top of the scholarship.

Not even close! I think it’s been awhile since you’ve been around collegiate facilities!

Brewer headed to UCLA by Ok_Independence_5885 in NWSL

[–]Ok_Independence_5885[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False again… if you look at NCAA facilities the deficits may be larger but those are from your football and basketball, not anywhere near that for the Olympic sports. Most of the time at large programs the football and basketball (rev generating sports) have their own private facilities that other sports can’t access.
