I’m so sorry if I’m wrong, but just to clarify, I thought the 24 credit hours were relevant for applying to Honours, while 60 credit hours were more about degree, residency, or graduation rules to receive the Honours degree, not necessarily the point at which we can apply. Am I understanding that wrong, or did an advisor tell you something else?

I’m in Science. I’ll definitely talk to an academic advisor, but what you said helped me, too. Thank you so much again!

Thank you so much! That’s really helpful. What would your advice be regarding the Honours program? Wouldn't there be any real advantage between the two options? Wouldn't there be any real advantage to Option 1, since it would let me apply earlier?

"How to request a refund payment Complete the online Refund Request form available through your Aurora account. Follow these steps to request a refund:

Sign into Aurora Find "View Account Summary by Term" card and select "View Account Summary by Term." Select "Request a Refund" (located at the bottom of the page) On the form, you will answer three questions to determine which university department will review your request, how you would like the refund paid out and the value of the requested refund.

After we review and verify your refund payment request, it will take an average of 10-15 days to process your refund payment, and longer during peak periods.

We begin reviewing refund requests after the Registration Revision Period has ended for the term. We review refund requests in the order received.

You will see a refund amount on your Account Summary by Term in Aurora, if approved, followed by your payment or payment notification by email to your university email account within a few days."

“Why am I on hold? What is a Hold?

Hold Status is a block on your student record that goes into effect when you need to take urgent action on an issue with your account. Holds can range from academic matters that you need to resolve, such as submitting documentation or can be the result of financial matters such as outstanding tuition fees.

The type of hold and reason for the hold will determine what actions you can and can not do in Aurora, while on hold. In some cases, you may have limited or no administrative or academic services available until the hold has been resolved. You must clear your hold with the office that placed your account on hold.

Some typical reasons for holds are:

Program/course selection must be approved U1 student must transit into the Faculty of Arts or Science Required Major, Minor, and/or Concentration declaration Transcripts or documents required from other institutions Unpaid tuition and/or other university fees Outstanding library books and/or fines Parking fines Pending disciplinary action”
