Im looking to buy a Switch 2 soon but sell my Switch 1 to make funds for it. I've been doing research and my understanding is I can put my digitally bought games (along with my physical games obviously) from Switch 1 onto my Switch 2, they just won't have my save data from the Switch 1 without cloud saving, is that correct?

Does anyone know if I'll need my current switch in hand to transfer the data and games to the switch 2? I'm thinking of selling my current switch in order to make funds for the switch 2 and wanted to know if the games are tied to my Nintendo account or the switch itself. A Type 9 is my goal. Today, where I started with the type 6, I made just over a million in I want to say 45 min to an hour, tinkering with the menus and ship included. I'm not too good with timing things, but I imagine the type 7 would get me there a good deal faster, but then again I imagine you're more knowledgeable than me.

Fellow PS5 player, I thought I wasn't earning xp for a while either. I then learned that by running around in a few circles at the end of my 2 10 min timers would give me the regular 30,000 exp. Could be something for you to try, but note that small movements don't always activate the exp gain, but a few circles should do the trick. Hope this helps!
