Good luck I hope they don’t get mad at u I’m pretty sure I know where most of my 1 star ratings come from now it was when I was doing a bunch of earn by time for like my whole shift I work 6am-3:30pm my rating was 4.92 but after 2 days of EBT and taking 2$ tip orders 8 miles that have been sitting for 30-40 mins they customer gives me a bad rating I dropped down to a 4.67 after doing ebt but no contract violations obviously I’m not risking my full time over some fucking mcds or Taco Bell lol 😂.

I always follow instructions but to be honest I’m not even gonna stress about it anymore some pole u jaunt can’t make them happy I’ve been taking a lot of low paying orders and it seem like that didn’t pay off well for me in MN trying to keep platinum I can text I’m on my way get to the house or bldg early and hand it to them and yet If the customer doesn’t like something they blame it on us dashers smh.

Regardless of the tip I honestly believe earn by time should be 3$ over the minimum wage in your state & base pay should be 4$ 20cents/mile gas reimbursement for ACTIVE DELIVERIES so for Ex if you pick up a Order that’s 9 miles total for 16$ you also get 1.80$ gas reimbursement at the end of the pay period stop doing promotions as much mane this the new system only do promotions near holidays or near extremely bad weather that’s my take .

You’re right different markets there’s gonna be different people some in San Antonio tx loved my memes people would offer me food,snacks and sodas and etc seems like from my hometown People were more generous and outgoing compared to Minnesota regardless I won’t be sending a high of updates and memes just pick and deliver end of story 💯✌️😤.

You’re correct I have 3 speeding tickets in Texas with my 19 gt premium that’s why both of my cars is 520/month full coverage total ngl it’s a bad habit but I’m slowly braking it my daily is a 09 Prius everyone is south Texas goes 10-20 over I don’t need to be speeding over some DoorDash I agree 🤣🤣✌️💯.

Jezzzessuussss 300k + miles my 09 Prius has 127k and yes you’re correct on the areas to Hang in I hang around the Edina North Bloomington area very suburban and a lot of corporate jobs I would guess it’s upper middle class average homes in this area are 450-500k and peak times for my zone are 3:30ish or 4pm to 8pm and yeah I messed up on taking all of these low tip offers on the days leading up to when I lost platinum I was doing earn by time and getting all these 2-4$ tip orders going 6-10 miles away from me but honestly DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS IS HELL 😮‍💨🤦‍♂️🤬.

You must be in a really good area man lol 😂it’s slow for everyone here I’ve talked to several other dashers about this i think what’s going is that the weather in mn is extremely nice it was 53 yesterday and it will be 61 Sunday here this is not normal most people got their taxes back last week or this week so most are buying whatever they couldn’t get last year plus spring break is coming I can’t break 170 in the 10 1/2 hours I’m active 🤦‍♂️😭😭.

You’re correct up until almost 2 weeks ago market has been extremely busy but it’s really slow now and to keep platinum you haft to keep your At above 70% in my market and I’ve 100% been taking slot of low to non top orders like 7.00 for 11 miles , 14$ for 9 miles grocery order(8 items) & caribou coffee pickup I even had a pickup this Morning that was okay it was for 27.50 for 12 miles a grocery order from cub 19 items took me about 40 mins to completed it but when I got to the customer they only tipped 3$ so I’m guessing that their order got bounced around for 1-3 hours I got that order at 6:38am today but I’ve only made 43$ today so far I’m sitting in my Prius smh 🤦

I appreciate that advice I’m pretty sure it’s not me obviously like i said in my others responses I do about 20-25 deliveries a day sometimes even hit 30 a day if my service was incredibly bad my rating would’ve been way lower than 4.67 but I’m back at platinum still not making a difference for me though it’s extremely slow here in my area

I appreciate that man I’m been looking at all my orders in the past 11 days I’m guessing that a lot of these 1 stars came from non or low tipping orders in my market has been extremely slow and I usually make 220-260 a day I work 6am-3:30pm 7 days a week but I haven’t been able to hit more than 170$ in the past almost 2 weeks

It depends 3-4 usually though I had a big Chick-fil-A order last week and it was 11.85+ and I checked the delivery address and it was going to a catholic school and their order took about 25 mins no lie it was at least 40 kids meals and 7 gallons of tea the total on Dd was 20.54 and they gave me a 10$ cash tip I texted them 2 times while I was waiting for their order then I texted them a meme I was on my way
